After 2000 years, the spinners are still a classic among youngster and adults as shown by Beyblade's numbers, the new generation spinners inspired by one of the most popular Japanese manga. The spinners sold around 2 millions units in Italy only, with thousands of fans. An incredible success, to the point of transforming a simple game in a real sport discipline. Following the competitions already organised in many Italian cities, during winter 2011 a proper regional tournament will take place. The cartoon is currently aired by Italia 1 and an exciting new toy line inspired by Beyblade Metal Master is expected before Christmas 2011.
